General Information View

The General Information view contains two sub-views: the Summary view and the Upgrade Paths view.

Summary

The Summary view view contains basic information about your setup, your company, and the application that you are installing. Some of the information you enter in this view is for your reference only, some is necessary to comply with Windows logo requirements, and the rest is for setting basic setup properties.

Upgrade Paths

The Upgrade Paths view allows you to provide upgrade information for the application for which you are creating a setup project. When you provide this information, end users who install the current version of your application upgrade from the previous version(s)—as indicated in the fields.
